Can I ask please
are the Aston le walls births missing prior to 1750 ? Were they possibly destroyed ?

Ancestry say that they have the Aston le Walls parish registers from 1538, BTs from 1706.

Looking for the forename "John" I can see an entry in 1606 and that is on page 18 of 111.



Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Again using John - baptism in 1754, burials in 1750-1755 and looking at page 111 there are entries in 1780.

BTs have the following gaps - 1734, 1757-58, 1775, 1777, 1780 and 1782
