Ivy Ellen Elliott b.1913 Guildford

I have been unable to find any trace of Ivy. I thought I was on the right track when I found a marriage to a Frederick Hookway in 1931, and a death in 1963, but other records that came up show that Ivy's mother was Mary Ann, whereas mine was Elizabeth.

The Elizabeth Rolison who married Edward Elliott appears to be in Surrey in 1901 and 1911 but her family is also in Newport, Essex around the same time.

Yes, this is my family thanks, but as you realised I am trying to go forward and have not found any trace of Ivy Elliott either marrying or dying at a young age.

Was she the only child of the marriage?  Have you traced what happened to Edward & Elizabeth after Ivy's birth?

I see that Edward's first wife, Caroline Emma (nee Slaughter, married in London in 1896) had been a patient of Brookwood asylum as a "lunatic" prior to her death aged 42 (Sep qtr 1911 Guildford).  Their marriage appears to have been childless.

Edward was actually registered at birth as Edwin Elliott, mmn Cook (to parents Albert & Charlotte), Mar qtr 1871 Wandsworth and was 2 months old b Clapham in the 1871 census.

Did he die as Edwin Elliott aged 68, Mar qtr 1939 Surrey SW?
