Padstow Cemetry
« on: Monday 09 July 18 13:18 BST (UK) »
I have been informed that my 3 x ggran born mary Pope and then married Sampson Talluck
is buried in Padstow Cemetry and that the headstone is propped up against a wall??

Now this is from a contact on Ancestry.

We live in the midlands -- so  Cornwall is not  easily accesible..
and I just wondered if someone lived in or near Padstow.. they could take a wander?

her details are

Mary Pope 1782- 1836 died in Padstow....
she married Sampson Talluck in 1809 in St. Petrocs Church Padstow.

Not sure how many churches there are in Padstow.

Have checked Find a Grave ..

but still looking..
attaching a couple of bits of info.

Xin

ps lovely day for grave hunting.. and if I can reciprocate I surely will  :)

Hello Xinia.  I would be interested to hear the result of the information you have received.  I have ancestors buried in Padstow cemetery and am descended from the Tallack (Retallick) family.  Do you now know if the headstones of Mary Pope and/or Samuel Tallack (Talluck) are propped up against a wall in the cemetery?  I live only 22 miles away and would go there to take a photograph.
