Simpson burials
« on: Monday 16 July 18 10:28 BST (UK) »
Hello,

James Simpson was still alive, living in Soham, in 1841. I think he died there in 1849. Can anyone find a burial for him? Also for his wife Lily/Lillis. They were christening children in Soham in the 1780s.

I'd appreciate any help!

Thomas Boon may have married Anne Trundle in Mildenhall, Suffolk, 8 miles from Snailwell, on 2nd February 1753.

Two other children in Snailwell - Sarah 21 Feb 1757 and Thomas 18 May 1755.

Can you find burials for Thomas and Ann Boon? Or for Thomas, his grandfather? Thomas was christening children in Snailwell in the 1700s.

Thomas Boon buried Snailwell 29 January 1784

Two possibles for Ann
but no other details given apart from date and place

14 June 1762 Snailwell
6 May 1787 Snailwell

Is it possible that the first burial could be a child of Thomas and Ann. It could be Ann the wife as no more children appear to have benn baptised after Lily in 1763.

That's terrific! Thanks. Can you find any christenings for Margaret Parsons in Snailwell, who married in 1723? Or anything on Thomas Boon, who married in Ingham in 1694 and was of Snailwell?
