Bullermon Occupation on census?
« on: Monday 16 July 18 15:13 BST (UK) »
I have found some of my relatives (The Mackenzies) on a 1911 census. They were living with a boarder, "Edwin Dunington". His occupation has been transcribed "Bullermon". I am thinking that it maybe actually says "Butterman", because I have never heard of a "Bullermon" and I can't seem to find it on google.

I am assuming this means he either sold or made butter. I am just trying to find out why he was living with them. But I am not sure if "Butterman" or "Bullermon" (if it even exists) would be a likely occupation for someone living in Fulham.

The details of the census are here:

Butterman - the next column is industry or service with which worker is connected and that says shop provisions.

Butterman: Someone who would have sold butter to the public.
