Marriage look up - plymouth

Hi, I am looking for details of a marriage for William Hill to Hannah Marie Atkinson in 1879. I wouldn't usual ask, but on census his wife states her name is Annie Miriam, and I can't find a marriage at all. Would be grateful for the help. Thank you

The 1879 marriage of Hannah Marie Atkinson was to Frederick  Woollacott  7 Sep 1879 Plymouth St Andrew

Have you  tried looking up the birth of one of their children on the GRO Birth Index which would list the mother's maiden name?? https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

There's Felix William Hill and Annie Maria Scown on the same page from Plymouth, Q2 1880, but actually they were from separate marriages. Felix William married Ann Lena Crocker. Not very likely Lena could be misread as Miriam.

Which census have you got Annie Miriam as the wife of William Hill please?

Looks like that family could be . . . . .

William Hill / Sarah Anne Tremills ( / Tremells ) marriage 1872 Plymouth           

Children = Henrietta has a mmn of Tremells ( b Windsor) , the others mmn Tremills ( b Plymouth )     



Clara ( Palmer ) Hill ( M, 20yo, Fisherman's Wife but crossed thru? ) would appear to be on her own
( on the night of census )     1881, Holy Trinity, Plymouth, RG11 2201 121 p25

Hi, thank you all for looking up marriage. But it was wrong name, ancestry has changed his name again!! I am looking for a marriage between Edward William beck hill to Annie Miriam, not sure where. Have just ordered birth certificate of one of their children, so hopefully will find out soon. Thank you all for your help.

Annie's maiden name appears to be Geen. There were several Hill/Geen children registered in Shoreditch and islington 1873 to 1890. (The one baptised as Edward John Emmanuel was registered as Edward Emmanuel Beckhill in 1873.)

No sign of a marriage though.
