THank you Dbree great info  family had a long stay in Ireland it seems - intrigued by the 2 marriages guess it was because they were of different denominations & had ceremonies in each faith :)

Maybe RAOGK volunteer in Quebec may be able to locate death notice or obituary for David Lloyd Davies in October 1999 which could throw more light on the other two brothers  ??? Worth a try  ;)

You're welcome. :) In Quebec in that time frame, the Anglican marriage wasn't recognized by the Catholic church. I suspect they were urged to remedy that after the Catholic baptism of William.

Yes, a very long stay, and Bridget and William travelled cabin class both ways. 8)

Sandra, always great teamworking with you. :)

Sandra & dbree thank you so much for all this information Bridget Connolly Davies did not return to Ireland as far as we know after the visit in 1919 with her son and family certainly have none of the information that you have found so they will be extremely happy.
Sandra RAOGK site is running v slow will try it again at a later stage.

I wonder did any of the sons have children - noted on Benjamin Reginald Davies obituary he was grandfather of David & Patricia so they have to be Davies surname.
Kind regards to you both :) :)

Excellent Sandra  8), now we also know who grandchild P belongs to.

For grandchild D and the others, we'd need the obits of the other two sons, to see who belonged to
who.
