It is BAMBER'S from Wigan, Ince in Makerfield .

I dont think anyone went to Australia - but its early days..............

The Bamber family are well known in Widnes, however, after investigation the family originated in Wigan.

Im looking for anyone with any info on the Wigan Bamber's.

They had a house on Warrington Road, Ince in Makerfield; John b.1842 & Alice Bamber.

The Widnes Bamber's start with John's brother, Robert b.1846 and his wife Sarah Leyland.  They arrive in Widnes around 1870.

Robert and Sarah Bamber are my Grt Grt Grandparents.

Connection to Brickmaking.

its just my sisters madian name is Bamber and they came from bolton

she hasnt been able to find much  thought id ask


Her father and my mothers ( we r half sisters) came to australia way back when but she doesnt know anything about her bambers
