I am trying to trace a John Hitchmouth or Hitchnough who worked a trainee chef in this hotel in the late 1950's.

It could well be as the year of birth is correct. Do you have anymore information about him?

He should appear on the 1939 register which is available to view on Ancestry & F.M.P.  We are not allowed to do look ups on that database.
