Where do I find adoption details. My great aunt was adopted after her biological mother was assaulted and became pregnant. I have photos of her with the family but cannot find any birth details. Where do I look?

It would be before formal, state, recorded adoption. What part of Australia?......

What family....birth mother's family...…..family she was adopted into......her own family that she had after marriage?
