William Grimwood born about 1672, probably in Bramford and lived most of his adult life in Tattingstone. His children all have the surname Grimwade. His first wife was Margaret Lafkin who he married 14 June 1692. They had 10 children, before his wife died. William's next wife was Mary Elizabeth Nichols, a widow, and they married in Harkstead, 4 March 1724. Mary left a will naming her daughters Margaret Glanfield and Hannah Gardener and sons John and Anthony Nichols plus sons in law and grandchildren from her first marriage. William next married Susan Glanfield, also a widow, on 18 Nov 1732 at St Matthew, Ipswich. Susan died in 1746 and was buried at Tattingstone 27 Nov 1746. William was buried at Tattingstone on 18 March 1746. Any help with 2nd and 3rd wives maiden names and family would be most helpful.
