Seaton Road school, Aberdeen
« on: Wednesday 25 July 18 09:17 BST (UK) »
This is a shot in the dark, I started at Seaton Road school in 1944, my name was Elspet Reid, my brother was Donovan Reid, and I think the teacher at the time may have been a Miss Wilson.  I am sure we had school photos taken, but have never been able to contact anyone who may have any. Anyone out there who can help. Thanks

Lots of Aberdeen old school photos here http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/nescotland/photos2.htm  Not sure if yours is there but worth checking in case.

I see from Colin's pages, he has 2 photographs from 1946-47 photographs 56 and 62. Where on Seaton road was the school? My grannie lived in School Road before I was born, and School Terrace after I was born.

It is actually Seaton School, although it is at the end of Seaton Road and turn left on to Seaton Road East

As per your original post, (Seaton Road school) I thought that there may have been an actual school on School Road at some time. My grannie was born in 1894, well before the "Seaton School" was built. I think that I will possibly contact Aberdeen Archives to see if there was one on School Road at sometime in the past.
