223 Crescent Rd Crumpsall hospital
« on: Friday 27 July 18 14:41 BST (UK) »
Hi. I have recently received a death cert for Michael Thomas Green, who died Feb 1950 at this address. It lists the informant as W Stainton, occupier. Does anyone know who this person was in relation to the hospital? Many thanks

123 then later 223 Crescent Road was the address numbers of the Workhouse which later turned into North Manchester General Hospital

You could also ask the Hospital.

Thanks all, it's all very interesting. So would the occupier be someone in administration?

My early thoughts are Walter Stainton both worked and possibly lived at the Workhouse, but I am willing to see any other responses!
