He might not have been baptised, or baptised elsewhere, as for a death, he died but it might not be registered where you expect it to be.
For example my dad died in hospital in Derby ( 1976), so that is where he is registered, he was cremated and is at Groby Rd so the opposite side of Leicester to where he lived.
My son was born/registered in Leicester and we lived in Leicestershire, baptised in a tiny village on the Notts/Lincs border in the church next to the farm where my cousin lives and our parents were both born/grandparents and great grandparents lived.
So both of those in the future people researching could find puzzling and hard to find or understand why
