elsden - 1841/51 census look up

Greetings, i am looking for any census information on Brandon Elsden, baptised at Chedburgh 31 June 1796, poss died at Hawkedon, Suffolk pre 1861?.  Also curious to know whether Brandon Elsden married.

Brandon Elsden married Susan Cruske 13 May 1819 by license issued on 12 May 1819.
No town or village referenced
No image just transcripts, the marriage has the name Susan Crash, license has Cruske.

July 1841 Robert Elsden is sentenced to 3 months in jail for Larceny

William 22 and Abraham 20 are with Theobald family all are ag. lab.

Did Brandon Elsden die before 1841 or did he decide later to go by Robert?

1851 Robert Elsden is with Hannah Middleditch nee Elsden who had married Benjamin Middleditch in 1849. He is a Cooper as in 1841.

Susan is a housekeeper with granddaughter Ellen for a Mr. Mark Chapman. transcribed a Elden not Elsden.

1861 Susan is a widow living with the Webb family
1871 she is with John and Harriet Craske
1881 she is with Harriet Craske.

Notes:
 the last child of Brandon and Susan is Abraham 1830 so its possible he died
shortly thereafter and she took up with Robert or as previously questioned did he decide to go by Robert.
Do you know from any of the marriages of the children what Brandon's occupation was, we know Robert was a Cooper.

Thanx to all who replied and confirmed some of my research.  I too was curious to know if Brandon and Robert are indeed the same individual.  My records show Brandon Elsden and Susan Craske marriage reg at Hawkedon, Suffolk 12 May 1819.
No, unfortunately, I do not have paternal confirmations from children's marriage registrations.

The son Abraham born 1830 joined the Coldstream Guards 1855 his regimental number 5194, age 23
born Hawkedon Suffolk.

30 April 1861, age 30 he received a pension, 1st Btn Coldstream Guards, Corporal

His full enlistment papers and pension are on Fold3 part of an ancestry subscription, that I don't have.
Perhaps your local library has it.
It will contain names, addresses if he had married etc. lots of useful information.

Just found him in 1861 census as Abe Elsden age 29 in St John's Hospital Westminster , as a patient
with many other soldiers all in the Coldstream Guards.
He no doubt got the pension due to injuries after serving 6 years.

The son William Elsdon/Elsden married Eliza Symonds 1851. You could see who he gave as his father with occupation.

Son Abraham Elsden married Ann Isabelle Knox circa 1859 as he was in the army it should be on his army record, possibly married by the chaplain, could not find on BMD.

Possibly the same Abraham Elsden (with second wife) in the 1871 Newcastle Upon Tyme census?: Abraham Elsden (40, b in Suffolk), head, married, labourer, living on Portland St., Elswick with wife Annabella _ (b in Northumberland ~1840), and child: Thomas Elsden (10, b at Durham, Sunderland).   Suggesting Abraham had married Annabella ca 1861.

My information shows the 1858 marriage of Abraham Elsden and Harriet Bailey reg at Thingoe Dist., Suffolk.  Harriet Elsden death reg at Thingoe Dist June qtr 1860 (BMD.com).
