« on: Wednesday 01 August 18 20:23 BST (UK) »
Hello,
I was just wondering if somebody could please do a quick search for me to find the father of William Webb who was married to Mary Pragnel on 28/1/1738 in Romsey, Hampshire, England. Thanks

Quick search?  Where?

A parish record of a marriage from that date wont give fathers name.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

What other information do you need?

Well, to find his father, you will need to know when and where he was born, and then look for a parish record for a baptism for him, which hopefully would show parents names. Not all are online. And of course not everyone was christened. FamilySearch may be a good place to start looking, or those familiar with the area (I am not) may know if there are other sites which have parish registers for that era. Otherwise it will be a case of visiting or contacting the relevant local record office.

Do you know anyway to find out when he was born?

Do you know when he died? If so, age at burial will give you a clue as to when he was born.

I believe he would have died between 1759 and 1802
