Is that (bit in bold) similar to the message you are getting ? What brrowser are you using ?

No, wasn't getting an error message at all, just being returned to the login page.

Seems to be working now, though, but still no DNA results.
That's to be expected as they only stopped accepting samples to refine their ethnicity algorithms on October 1st. It's going to take a couple of months at least to process those and create and test new algorithms, and then implement those new algorithms on everyone's DNA samples including those who uploaded who have a findmypast subscription. The Family Networks may arrive sooner.

Well that was a letdown after a near 4 month wait!  I just got an email to say I was part of the next batch to get beta access to the family network, 1 match 😓😓😓 it says 5th cousin but at 49.9 cm ancestry would have placed them as a 4th cousin.

Not surprising perhaps as their database is probably the smallest of all the most well known providers.

Hi sugarfizxle, unfortunately no, it would be nearly impossible for me to be able to place 4th/5th cousins as I've only really been able to get back to 2x great grandparent apart from on my fathers paternal side, the side on  which no one has tested 😓😓😓

Melba -
'Not surprising perhaps as their database is probably the smallest of all the most well known providers.'

To me it is both surprising and disappointing.

To say it is probably the smallest database must be a bit of an understatement, but they all have to start somewhere.

I remember when I first uploaded to my heritage I had about 200 matches, now I have c 20,000. This was more due to an upgrade in the way they were looking at matches, rather than an actual increase.

LivingDNA are probably disappointed as well, were perhaps hoping for more people to upload their results there.

The beta release was delayed by several months until now, the full version was supposed to be out Oct - Dec 2018. I can't wait to see it when it is ready!!
