Hi
I am a newbie to the site
If there is anyone who lives in Mottram in Longdendale  I am searching for a John Harrison b1770 d1842 wifes name was Nancy I now its a long shot as the stone will have been weathered but if anyone can look it up for me I would be grateful

Are you sure that there is a gravestone.  Do you have the burial plot location

Hi Rosie and Goldie
Thankyou for your replies to be honest I dont have a buriel number or even if there is a gravestone I dont think it is "my John " on that list as on one of the census he is a grocer,I know very little of their deaths etc.only that Nancy his wife was 10 years older than him and she outlived him ,they lived at Mud ! Thanks once again for your help I will get in touch with Thameside office
