I have years of notes on my searches for this lady and came up with this baptism as a last resort.. and have noted to MYSELF to do more research on her Father Thomas and how he may have travelled to Cornwall or how she managed to marry someone from Cornwall.

Havent any good results on that and it has been put on HOLD.

some 4 years ago..

back burner for that day when..

But as you know there is not another Hester Leverton to be found.. so the connection needs to be found between this family and Cornwall

ON reflection, I will check to see if a Thomas that could relate to being her daddy is born in Lanlivery.  etc.. have another scout around the online REG's...

for a possible link between Thomas Leverton - London and Cornwall

possible dates  1600's

I found some other unsupported information on another tree but what you've come up with proves that it is utter rubbish, claims she was born in Cornwall, 1649.

I agree that her father warrants lookig into but you might also care to look deeper into the Cornish Hellyar family. I  see a variety of records centred on St Merrion and Padstow.

I have spent many years now researching Cornwall Hellyar /iar/ieers and various other spelling.s.s.s.

so I dont want to spend more time and money on them..

MY old friend had spent many hours in the records office with officialdom and offical docs.. getting to grips with this family..

so I dont want to stir up what I have..

I am not convinced as yet about Walter and Edmund and up etc.......   but

There is a JOHANNA born in Cornwall in 1649  OPC shows that one.

Yes there are oooodles of variations to the Hellyar theme and MY IVEY link  oooodles.. and with things as they are all I can do is my very very best and gain as much 'hopefully credible' information as I can.

I always attempt to verify and then verify again, however some times things slip through the net and a similar name can be added inadvertantly..  I do try and certificate my stuff where I can..  I do not skimp on certs..

I work on this for MY KIDS so I want it to be as close to or the Truth.. where it can be.. I do always listen to arguement..

but i am xin and totally not infallable.

Just a thought but instead of Thomas Laverton/Leverton going to Cornwall is it possible that John Hellyar lived in London for a while and that they wee married there. It's been bothering me that I can find no marriage on the Cornwall OPC.

Wow! I also have a connection, albeit somewhat tenuous, to the Iveys.
