Where are the best places to look for pre-1900 documentation of Vermont French Canadian relatives?  Anything readily available for free online?

The surnames are Blondin (Blodah, etc.) and Gendron (Johndron, etc).  They left the Franklin Co. VT area for Brainerd MN about 1870.  There's one possible birth record in Enosburg for a son in about 1867 and a possible marriage record for the couple in Lawrence MA shortly prior to that.
