There is a suggestion on an ancestry tree that this was the Blais family under "Bless" in 1870  ???

1870 Pleasant, Winneshiek, Iowa.

Mary Bless    34 years born New York
George Bless 20 years born Canada.
Michael Bless 17 born Canada.
Katherine Bless   15 born Canada.
Sarah Bless 13   born Iowa.
Mary Bless    11 born Iowa.
Rebecca Bless 8 born Iowa.
Samuel Bless 5 born Iowa.

Parents listed as George Blace and Mary (Guettinger) Gerdinger 10 September 1824 –1926   ???

There was a probate record in Winneshiek Iowa for George Blass who passed away 23 January 1869 - probate to wife Mary.

Not finding parents on a 1850/51 census - USA or Canada.

Are we going to get any acknowledgement from the poster, we've obviously spent a lot of time researching on this one. ???
