The above married 15 Sep 1896 in Aberdeen, Evelyn Jane Bryden Law (b 8 Jun 1872 Fetteresso, Kincardine-16 Apr 1957 Edinburgh). Found their birth, marriage and passings but am unable to find them after their marriage and they don't seem to appear on the 1901/1911 censuses?
So am trying to find out if they had any children. On both probate records, confirmation is to Frederick Thomas Douglas and wonder if he is a son?

In the UK RAF Airmen records there is a Frederick Thomson Dickson Douglas born 6 Jun 1900, next of kin Joshua Dickson Douglas.  Birthplace was Newington, Edinburgh

Joshna Dixon Douglas 45 , possible children Ernest 12 , Frederick 10 , Robert 5 , Walter David 3.

Frederick Thomas Douglas' birth entry I think shows in Newington Midlothian in 1900. Possible also for Ernest in 1898. Fits with what has been found.

Joshua shows in the valuation rolls online at SP at various address in the Edinburgh area from 1905.

As to where the family was for 1901 census??

Thank you all, now I've found the 1911 on SP, also the children's full names there(without paying) but like you can't find the 1901 census.
Seems as if Frederick married in Yorkshire and passed away in Lincoln 1977 as did his wife 1993? However he was in Scotland up to 1960? Perhaps they had children living in Lincoln?
