There is an advertisement in the Gloucestershire Echo 9th November 1911 " Mr & Mrs H G Swift of Malvern View Hotel Cleeve Hill. Specially heated for winter residence, adjoining Golf Club & Tram Terminus. Lovely views & bracing air. Frequent cars to Cheltenham.

Gloucestershire Echo 21st August 1941. Bishops Cleeve Wedding. Robert Raymond Harrison married Dorothy Doreen Nottingham, she was given away by her brother Leonard. Youngest daughter of the late Mr C W Nottingham & Mrs Nottingham of Malvern View Hotel Cleeve Hill. The reception was held at the hotel.

Gloucestershire Echo 20th March 1946. Full catering licence was approved for Mrs M A Dickenson Malvern Hill Hotel, Cleeve Hill by the Cheltenham Rural Food Control Committee, Mr J G Rymer was in the chair.

If you search the '39 register using the info from ellenmai re 1941, you will find the names of 3 other residents/workers and their subsequent married names for 2 more of them..
Malmesbury- Bishop.
Gloucestershire-Bishop,Hicks,Higgs,Hill,Hooper,Hopkins,Pitcher,Robertson,Stinton,Terret,Woodruff.
Worcestershire-Stinton. 
Devon- Borrough or Burrow.
