Hi Carol, have a look at 999inks.co.uk Official and compatible cartridges.

They are pretty good.

Thanks so much, Andrew, Jebber and Calverley Lad for your valuable input...the reason I have stuck with the Epson recommended ink is due to the print quality but now I have other options.

I have been very happy with Stinkyink (honestly!) - they guarantee replacement if the compatibles don't work. Multipack for your printer £10.99, £9.98 each if you buy two.
When buying a printer, the total cost of ownership is the key thing to research, I've found, not just the ticket price for the printer.

            On Amazon.  I don't think that I've ever bought O.E.M  inks except those that come with the printer.   I bought a cheap Epson XP-322 to replace my trusty Canon when it finally expired.
I don't do much printing nowadays . It tells me occasionally that I'm using compatible inks, but I just continue. I don't have any problems.#, but it's now cheaper to buy a new printer complete
with inks,than buy the ink set.  ( I suspect that the O.E.M's have cottoned on to that and have reduced the amount of inks in them)

My OH bought replacement ink for my Epson Stylus PhotoR245 printer at :

The printer doesn't recognise the ink cartridges, these are supposed to be compatible inks...any ideas please...OH has tried several internet instructions without success  :-\
