I agree I parted with my money & found "I" knew more than they did about either of my ancestors.

I just got taken in by this site yesterday!  Fortunately I found the 'do not auto renew' button and clicked it.  They know they have no WWII records, they are still with the MOD (those that weren't lost in the blitz).  I actually have my dad's service records, but thought they might be able to fill in some gaps.  Well more fool me - Eight quid later and of course - NOTHING...  I complained and they offered to do some 'free' research for me...

Wow...  Not a scam as far as the auto renew thing goes (caveat emptor), but not exactly above board either.  I may see if VISA can cancel that payment for me.

AND I should have checked here first.
