i have an ancestor thomas williams born abt 1814 falmouth
married in 1837 to jane nicholson in stoke damerel
1851 and 1861 has him living in stoke damerel and head of house and greenwich pensioner

please do you have any further information than this and from scant records i assume he was in the royal navy.
there is one record i found online giving a thomas williams aboard h.m.s viper in the early 1830s
but unsure if this is the same person

any information would be appreciated. thank you

So what occupation did he have at 1837 marriage? Birth of the kids?

Looked for baptisms?
Searched 1851 for him elsewhere?

baptism of Cornelius 5 July 1857 shows Thomas as mariner, as does that of Harriet in 1851.
Marriage in 1837 was in March so before the start of civil registration and no details given for father.

Possible baptism in Mylor, very near Falmouth
