This looks good too. I found a birth for Fanny in Portarlington and here is a death for Fanny Zimmerman in 1925

Gosh... the further you go back the more difficult it gets. Excuse my ignorance, i'm reasonably new to this, but is it possible to see it all in one place / family, like a census or similar for the period?
.

I have tried that but as yet to no avail.

Bridget shows an immigration year of 1870 in 1900 but that could vary.
The family should show in 1880 but I haven’t got them yet.

Reading this it sounds as impossible as I found the tracing of my Cummins ancestry beyond Thomas b. c 1841 Ireland, but only ever "found" in Lancashire England.
My very best wishes that you have success.
Threlfall (Southport), Isherwood (lancs & Canada), Newbould + Topliss(Derby), Keating & Cummins (Ireland + lancs), Fisher, Strong& Casson (all Cumberland) & Downie & Bowie, Linlithgow area Scotland . Also interested in Leigh& Burrows,(Lancashire) Griffiths (Shropshire & lancs), Leaver (Lancs/Yorks) & Anderson(Cumberland and very elusive)
