Adelaide Matilda Stock's birth is registered Clutton, Somerset, England, 1846 & her baptism is recorded 29th November 1846 Compton Martin, Somerset.My last record for Adelaide is Wales 1861 Census.
 
Laleston, Glamorganshire. 1861 Census record shows -
Parent's - John & Sarah Stock
Adelaide -b 1848 Birthplace unknown + siblings all born in Glamorganshire -  Sarah b 1850, Emma b 1852, Henry b 1856 & Richard b 1857.

Apart from Emma, my line, who married, in Llangynwyd, Glamorganshire, 1870 and migrated to NZ in 1878, the rest of the Stock family disappears!

I thought Adelaide Matida Stock's fairly uncommon name might lead me to the rest of her family.
Any clues leading to Adelaide's discovery would be very much appreciated.

Initially I'd dismissed that 1899 marriage, due to Adelaide being abt 53yrs old at the time. However, of course it is possible.

Free bmd gives me two options for a husband, Mr. Mansell or Jones. I checked the other female name, on that index, Miriam Alice Parker, & found a 1945 Wolverhampton death for Miriam A Mansell, aged 76 yr. therefore born abt.1868. Another check shows a 1869 birth for Miriam Parker, So, I'm presuming this Adelaide Stock married Edward Jones.

1912 Free bmd death records show Adelaide Jones, aged 67yr, died in Pontypridd, Glamorganshire, which looks OK. I'm not entirely convinced. Such a common Welsh surname, unfortunately.
Now I'll see what Census records I can find.

Adelaide's parents John Stock and Sarah Kearl married 22/12/1845 at St Marys Church, Bristol, England. As you've seen, lots of spelling variations for Kearl.
Adelaide's siblings' dates correspond with your research. I have Richard 1st 1855 - 1856 and then Richard 2nd 1857 - ?
I suspect there may also have been two Henrys - b 1853 & 1856.

Also I have Agnes 1860 - 1864. James 1861 - 1863.

Emma died in NZ in 1890 shortly after her 10th child was born.

Can't seem to find James Stock 1861 - 1863 ish at the GRO database

Can see him on the Familysearch though
