My grandfather was born in Urney Strabane late 1800s. I am looking church records and family members that still live in Strabane area. Harry Anderson his father was David and apparently built their house in flushtownhavng 7 children and took 3 others in via church as part of family. Thanks

Welcome to Rootschat  :) This isn't a forum for tracing living relatives but we can probably help you find other information.

Urney, and Strabane, are in County Tyrone, Ireland so your post will probably be moved to the Tyrone board by one of the moderators.

Here are the family in 1901 (Backtown) and 1911 (Flushtown)-

www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Tyrone/Urney__East/Flushtown/851246

The 1911 census said they had 8 children (all living).

Anderson David of Flushtown Strabane county Tyrone farmer died 22 October 1952 Probate Londonderry 8 December to Joseph T. Robinson contractor and Samuel Fyffe law clerk. Effects £380 5s.

Have to go out now for a bit but will post more later if no one else has already posted that information.

This could be David's mum and Dad and siblings?

I would look up the valuation books and see if you can trace where they lived - who knows they might still live there
