Jane Youngson and Alexander McKenzie
« on: Wednesday 15 August 18 18:36 BST (UK) »
Jane Youngson born 1833 married Alexander McKenzie (on marriage certificate as being born in 1807 in Inverness or what looks like Inverness it actually says Invernefs).  He is a widower with 2 living children and 1 child that has died but no names.  He is a cooper living in Peterhead.  His father was Andrew McKenzie and his mother Barbara Mckenzie both are deceased.  Witnesses were Charles Brown and William Greig.  I cannot find Jane and Alexander after their marriage can anyone help please?  Thanks.

I think this must be them in 1861, in Wallsend, Northumberland:

Alexander McKenzie, 57, Cooper journeyman, 1804, Scotland
Jane Youngson McKenzie, 26, wife, 1835, Scotland
Davidina McKenzie, 19, daughter, 1842, Scotland
Alexander McKenzie, 16, son, 1845, Scotland
Joshua McKenzie 3, son, 1858, Scotland
Catherine McKenzie, 1, daughter, 1860, Scotland

Inverness or what looks like Inverness it actually says Invernefs.
No, it is not Invernefs. It is the old-fashioned 'long s' which was used as the first of a double 's'. If you look at it very carefully, and compare it with a definite 'f' by the same writer, you'll see that it lacks the cross-stroke that would turn it into an 'f'.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thank you both so much, yes that is them in 1861 :).  I wish English birth/deaths/marriage websites were as good as the Scottish but at least now i have a good start, thanks.

These two Tynemouth births may suggest they stayed around the area, but I haven't found them yet in 1871:

Aha - this may be Andrew with his mother in 1891 in Wallsend:

Jane McKenzie, 57, head, widow, Scotland
Andrew McKenzie, 20, son, Wallsend, Northumberland

The transcription has the surname as McLunzer, but looking at the image, it's definitely McKenzie.
