Abraham Moore, 1911 Census

Hello,

Abraham was born in Calne in 1849 and was buried in Hilmarton in 1917. Can anyone find him in 1911? He signed his marriage record with a cross so was presumably illiterate.

I’d appreciate any help!

Why not try Ancestry

I usually do lookups on FamilySearch because sometimes I struggle to read original entries. I’ll look now.

I've found him with no trouble.

Are you practicing what we taught you one of your other threads - put in less info?
Though actually in this case I did put in name, year of birth within 5 years - and looking down the results could pick out the correct one easily.

I left out an age and just put in Abraham Moore but found nothing on FamilySearch.

Try Ancestry and report back.

Keep an open mind - don't just look at the first suggestion, look down the list.

Found it on Ancestry after conferring with FamilySearch. Recorded as Abraham Mason on FamilySearch living with Isaac Moor, although I’ve no idea how that error was made having viewed the image.
