Buried in Alexandria.
« on: Sunday 19 August 18 14:04 BST (UK) »
I have an Ada Elizabeth Jones nee Hayes who was born 1868 in Cheshire and died in Alexandria, no idea when.
She had a son born in  Wrexham Denbighshire 1895 named John Rathbone Hayes Jones, and I`ve found reference to a man I think is him in the National Archives , 1914, consulars office Cairo.  Osman Hammad Amer v John Rathbone Hayes Jones.
J RH Jones  died in Surrey in 1960 but his address is Villa Noemie , Avenue Menendez y Pelayo , Tangier Morocco.(probate) I believe he was into the textile business. His widow was Margaret Mary - Hayes Jones, again I have nothing on her.

I`m really looking for Ada`s death  if any one can help, her husband John Jones  died in Wales in 1918, I have them together in 1901 but not after that.
In fact anything at all will be great.

Liverpool Echo 25th June 1945

Opponent for the Premier

'A single nomination form was handed in for John Rathbone Hayes-Jones, described as a director of companies and living at Tynyparc, Ruthin, who will contest Wrexham as a Welsh Independent. Mr Hayes-Jones has just flown from Cairo to contest the election.'

That`s really interesting. I have the information on his mother from his fathers grave, but only he is buried there.
She is out in Alexandria somewhere so John Hayes must  have been there at some time.
