John Naughton of Tullig
« on: Sunday 19 August 18 18:26 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find a baptism for John Naughton about 1883 in Tullig, parents Thomas and Mary.
Also his marriage to a Mary about 1900.
John is on the 1901 census and the 1911 census in Tullig .I believe John went to America but i cannot find him either, i am also trying to find out if his wife Mary born 1887 and his daughter Bridget born 1911 went with him.
John died in the First World War in 1918 and is buried in France.
Any help would be appreciated.

I did some research and there are 2 John Naughton's. The one on the 1911 census with the wife and child is not the right person {my mistake}.
There is a John on the 1901 census living with his parents Thomas and Mary.
He is the one that left for America i now think 26th May 1901.

Thomas & Mary Naughton with family are living in Tullig West-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Clare/Tullig/Tullig_West/1077915

Did you find a John Naughton going to America in 1901? passenger manifest for arrival should list name and address of nearest relative in U.K.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
