Hannah Taylor of Woodbridge birth
« on: Monday 20 August 18 15:05 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me to find the birth/baptism and possibly parents of Hannah Taylor born 1811 in Woodbridge Suffolk?
I have been stuck with her for a long time and dont know the area too well, found a few possible baptism records but they seem quite far away from Woodbridge.
Hannah married Charles Farrar 13 june 1831 in Foleshill,Warwickshire and she died in 1895 in Leicester.

Thank you in advance

This is the closest I can find

Hannah Taylor born 14 October 1809 daughter of Thomas and Lucy. Birth recorded at Otley Baptist Church. Abode given is Hemingstone. According to the Genuki pages, as the crow flies, Otley is 5 miles from Woodbridge and Hemingstone 8 miles.

Outside possibility?
Anne Taylor, bap Woodbridge, 5 April 1811
parents William and Anne (late Walker)
William of the Royal Horse Artillery

There is a William Taylor + Ann Walker marriage at Brinklow, 1 January 1810
Brinklow is fairly near Foleshill, but I don't know whether it might be the same couple.

Civil Registration did not start until 1837. If Hannah married in 1831, as you state in your first post, then all you are likely to find is the entry from the Parish register. Fathers names were only entered, usually, from 1837 onwards.
