Cannot understand why you can’t find the 1881 entry.  There are only 2 matches and one is living in Sheffield and the other in Southwell

All you have to do is input Mary Foulds birthplace Nottinghamshire birthyear 1864

What are you searching on? I was looking on FREE CEN UK. But still can't see it. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place 😊

Fouldes.<br />Any area where our family are.  My branch started around Derbyshire, Nott's and Yorkshire.  We ended up in South Lincolnshire!  So yay!  Course any area with Fouldes in would help!  See my family tree below for what gaps I have!  Cheers!

Would also like to see any Beaumont's from Sheffield as I have lots of family photos & can't identify them!!

I don’t see it on freecen either, but it’s on family search

https://www.familysearch.org/search/record/results?count=20&query=%2Bgivenname%3AMary~%20%2Bsurname%3AFoulds~%20%2Bbirth_place%3ANottinghamshire~%20%2Bbirth_year%3A1864-1864~

I’ve tried entering those details into freecen but can’t make it work.

Oh fantastic! That us much much better! Thank you for that! Wonder if I can find others on this site!

Thank you so much! A cook. I wonder what delights she could make. I loved my Nan's cooking, who was from Sheffield!

Cheers, MJ

I have spent 20 odd minutes looking on that website www.familysearch.org and have not found her at all 😂

I found her on Family Search.  Using the search criteria I showed in my reply - there are only 2 entries to choose from

The highlighted is where they were baptised. When I say abode- that is where the family were living

"Bramcote  -St Michael and all Angels
31 Mar 1872 George son of James & Sarah FOULDS abode Bramcote father a wheelwright"

Newstead- The Abbey Chapel
Oxton-St Peter and St Paul

My family, some based in Bathley, had their church ceremonies in North Muskham as Bathley did not have a church. Others went "home" even though in one case the child was born in a different county.
