Cannot understand why you can’t find the 1881 entry.  There are only 2 matches and one is living in Sheffield and the other in Southwell

All you have to do is input Mary Foulds birthplace Nottinghamshire birthyear 1864

What are you searching on? I was looking on FREE CEN UK. But still can't see it. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong place 😊

I have spent 20 odd minutes looking on that website www.familysearch.org and have not found her at all 😂

I found her on Family Search.  Using the search criteria I showed in my reply - there are only 2 entries to choose from

My family, some based in Bathley, had their church ceremonies in North Muskham as Bathley did not have a church. Others went "home" even though in one case the child was born in a different county.
