a little more

Other baptisms to William & Sarah Richard in Llandilo
3 Oct 1819 David & John twins address noted as Waunhir in Manerfabon
3 Feb 1822 Henry, William noted as farmer

1841 census David & John are servants at the farm of Thomas Rees called Cappel. The Thomas rees who was a witness to William's marriage in 1838 signed his name as Thos Rees Cappel ty ? so perhaps David or John replaced William as a farm servant to Mr Rees.
Cappel is on the opposite page to William's home in the 1841 census book and at the bottom of the same page as William is Hendry Richard, servant at the farm of Edwrd Hopkins.

all this info is from Findmypast. Ancestry isn't good with Welsh place names and doesn't have the parish records from Wales. Search for Sarah Richard - no s - as it's easier to find.

I haven't found the marriage in the parish records on FindMyPast but I think this might it - 28 Nov 1814 in Llandyfeisant for William Richard of Llangadock & Sarah Lewis

Brilliant stuff , many thanks. Are you able to find a maiden name for Elizabeth Richards b1872 who married William Richards b1867 , 3 children John Henry Richards, William Rees Richards and Grafton Melville Richards. Born in 1894, 1899 and 1910 respectively.
James, Jinks - Stoke On Trent,  Richards, Rees, Morgans - Llandilofawr, Llangadock, Wilding- Hereford, Underwood, Sitch, Thorne, Day all West Ham, and Leytonstone. .

I'd guess at Rees looking at the 1901 census as there is a Rees cousin in the household and it's William's second name. The way to check is to use the GRO site that you use for ordering certificates

https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp

and search the index. You need to register if you haven't already done so & it's free to search

birth reg
John Henry Richards sept qtr 1893 Llandilofawr vol 11a pg 1079 mmn Rees
William Rees Richards sept qtr 1898 Llandilofawr vol 11a pg 1125 mmn Rees
Grafton Melville Richards dec qtr 1910 Llandilofawr vol 11a pg 1264 mmn Rees

and a possible daughter
Felicia Mary Richards march qtr 1908 vol 11a pg 1353 mmn Rees
death reg Felicia Mary Rees 0 sept qtr 1908 vol 11a pg 613

marriage reg
William Richards dec qtr 1891 Llandovery vol 11a pg 1631 with Elizabeth Rees on the same page.

The marriage doesn't appear in the parish records available on FindMyPast, but there is an Elizabeth Rees in Llangadock in 1881 of the right age whose father William is a railway labourer. In 1891, possible as a servant at Cappel Tydyst, the same farm where David & John were working in 1841! But you need the marriage cert to be sure.
