Elizabeth Hickling B1818 Duffield, Henry, Lewis Hingley

I am trying to find information regarding Elizabeth Hickling born about 1818 in Duffield who had a son called Henry prior to marrying Lewis Hingley in 1836.  I would be most grateful if anyone can help me with information regarding this family.

Family in 1841/51 census. Elizabeth seems to die in 1851 and Lewis remarries in 1852 to Maria Winson.
Lewis and Maria on census until 1881 and Maria as a widow on 1891 aged 76

Are you sure of her birth year?  The 1851 gives a year of 1810.   Below is a death record for her:-

HINGLEY, ELIZABETH       41     
GRO Reference: 1851  D Quarter in BELPER  Volume 19  Page 337

This gives a birth year of 1810.

I have not as yet found any likely baptism for her.

Seems Elizabeth had at least five children with Lewis -

Hhmmm, I wonder - There is this baptism:-

Bessy Hickling baptised 18 August 1811 at Duffield.  Parents are John and Betty.

Bessy would be a pet name for Elizabeth.

On the 1841 Census Elizabeth has a son called Henry aged 7 who was born before she married Lewis Hingley. I know Henry's fathers name was Charles Key or Ley but cant find his birth/baptism anywhere.  Henry was my gg grandfather and wish I could find out more about his ancestors.

After your information I have managed to find the burial for Elizabeth Hingley which was on the 11th October 1851 in Duffield.

I have also just found the baptism you mentioned and it says that Betsy was 2 1/2 at the time of her baptism on the 18th August 1811, so she must of been born early 1809, her brother John was also baptised at the same time,  You could be right about the name being short for Elizabeth.
