The 1841 Army Worldwide index places him in Charlesfort, Kinsale.  The National Archive document is WO 12/8554 the Muster Book of the 81st Foot.

My understanding is that the 1841 census in Ireland is almost non existent.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

Or maybe i did not explain it very well...as Max says....and I have stated previously......William was in Ireland according to the 1841 army index. There is no Irish 1841 census. So i very much doubt you will find the family in any 1841 census.

Thank you.

Could you give a weblink to the army index you mention so I can check source and improve my own research skill/  Thanks.

Gents

Many thanks.

I tool the 1841 question out of the other thread as I was overwhelmed with all the inf. and had spend another day looking for the 1841 stuff.

Apologies if I caused confusion and made a mistake by not following a protocol I apologise.

I am an inexperienced roots chat user.

Have a good evening gentlemen.
