Looking for my half brother

My father passed away this year and didn't ever give me any info on his ex wifes sons, who are my half brothers. She re married and her new husband adopted them, so it wouldn't be the same last name. I know her maiden name, and my brothers first names. And that's it.

You don't tell us where in the world you are located.  As Ray has suggested freebmd is good for the UK but does not cover anywhere else. 

Rootschat is for tracing Ancestors not living people but I am sure that someone on here can advise where to look once we know where you are.

I live in California. Im not sure what other information to throw out there. Its hard to fimd his ex wife and her sons because she remarried with a new name. 😢Is there a website to look up maiden names and it maybe shows info on all her marriages? I dont even know if shes alive. Im 40, they are probably 50-55.

Yes. And this was his first wife, my mom was his second wife and he also had a third wife after that. It's the first wife that I'm looking for. Her name is Patricia . Her son's names are James and Matthew.

They were married around 1970. And she wouldn't be going by the last name ^(*) anymore, I don't think, considering she got remarried. I have no idea what her husband's name is. And my brothers I'm sure took his last name.

That said, you could search on www.familysearch.org - this is a free to use site run by The Church of Latter Day Saints . You will need to register to access to "search" the site.
