Coach and Horses and the White Lion Inn where were they?
« on: Friday 24 August 18 10:41 BST (UK) »
Trying to locate the place where my 3great grandparents and children lived in 1871. The census is of the Parish of Conwil, they are living in a row of houses called Danyrhiw near a baptist chapel and the above named pubs/inns. Anybody help would be most grateful.

Click on, zoom and check the western edge of the map. Should see "Pwll-y- gaseg" and "Clyn-coch".
These two properties appear on the Census page preceding the "Danyrhiw" entries.

Unfortunately cannot check the area further - must dash. Will check later unless you can navigate the site?

Thank you. Looked at the map, then the adjoining one and low and behold I think we've got them. Would you believe I was looking at XXIIISW yesterday but they were hiding from me😁😁😁😁 .

Road trip tomorrow me thinks to Cwmduad.

Sorry Ray but the pub you found is inN Wales, I wanted Carmarthen, thanks for trying

Excellent - I didn't have time to check adjoining map yesterday (local beer festival taking priority!)

I was drawn to that area after reading something about The Coach and Horses, Cwmduad (tho' there are plenty of pubs of that name).
