Ealing & Old Brentford Cemetery
« on: Saturday 25 August 18 08:36 BST (UK) »
I was wondering if anyone can help me with a burial  at Ealing & Old Brentford Cemetery. Seymour J MOYISE was buried there.

The burial date was 26 November 1946:
Cemetery Section - Ground Pp. Division (no idea what Pp means)
Grave No.  20d
Internment  178

Would like to know if her sons Anthony and John are buried with her as they died about the same time.

I have contacted the cemetery and they say their records are held on Ancestry and if I have a copy ( which I do) taken from their records - they can't give anymore information.

Yes, very sad a mother and two sons deaths.

I have used this website in the past- they do charge £10 for any further info though.

And a layout of where the plots are.

Is she likely to have a gravestone? If so you could make a memorial for her on findagrave.com and put in a photo request.

This is the cemetery on findagrave https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/880537/south-ealing-cemetery
There is a plan of the cemetery in the photos on the cemetery page.

Comes up with no name of Moyise,

Do you think she has private grave

If I didn't live so far away I would be able to go to the cemetery. Thank you for the layout showing where the plots are. She is in Pp Division where ever that is.

Shall look at the address you have given me.

I don't know if she is likely to have a headstone. I was hoping she had and, her boys  being with her.

Her husband remarried in 1950 and died 1983 at Kingston upon Thames.

Just another one of life's mysteries.

Thank you

Louisa Maud

I have no idea whether she has a private grave. I wonder why she would have a private grave. Haven't come across one in all of my searches.

As I said her husband re-married in 1950 and died in 1983 at Kingston upon Thames, so, he won't be buried with her.
