On the Fowkes line, I have back from Rebecca.
Rebecca Fowkes born c.1753 Elmesthorpe. Married John Pool 1775 Earl Shilton. Died 1785 Nailstone.
No baptism found but listed in her fathers will as “My daughter Rebecca Pool and her husband John Pool”
Parents-
John Fowkes born 1711 Rothley. Married Ann Paul 1742 Leicester. Died 1776 Elmesthorpe.
The Cotton of Dadlington pedigree lists the Marriage of Barnard Cotton Esq and Rebecca Halford all the way down to the marriage of Rebbecca Fowkes and John Pool as per 1684 Visitation and extra research done by Nichols in the antiquities of Leicestershire.
(Ann Paul was the daughter of Robert Paul Jr and Eleanor Cotton dau of Barnard and Rebecca, Barnard Son of Samuel Cotton Esq and Rebecca dau of Sir Thomas)
