At her request, no service will be held for Margaret A. Mewes, 94, who died Tuesday.

She was born in British Columbia, Canada, and moved to Arizona in 1927. She married Otto Mewes in Kellogg in 1936.

She had worked for the Bunker Hill Co. in Kellogg and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Mewes was a past member of the Ladies of the Elks.

Her husband died in 1982.

Survivors include a daughter, DC of Kellogg; one stepdaughter, D of Alaska; one sister, Nancy Tite of Canada; and nine grandchildren.
(I've left out full names of the survivors but surely Nancy wouldn't still be living?I'll take her name out if need be). She and husband seem to be living with Alice OSBORNE in New Westminster ~1957.)

Many many thanks to you all. a wonderful effort on your part. No wonder I came unstuck with them using different Christian names.
I'm still trying to get my head round them all. So do we think that Margaret A . Osborne ( Mewes) was in fact Emily Alice/Alice Emily, something having gone wrong with prior marriages?

Gosh these Osborne have me running in circles.

Oh! my goodness, thank you for all of that DB.

 I wonder about all this changing of 'middle names'.  Winnifred Mary is Winifred Margaret when marrying John Connelly.
Looks as though  Emily Alice/Alice Emily at her first marriage later becomes Margaret A Mewes, no wonder I get confused ( not too difficult I can tell you).
