I still can’t spot Michael’s death.

I am not sure re the Connor/Ryan marriage.

There is a published tree with Christina b 1891 Athy, Kildare and a death in Fareham, 1974.

There is a corresponding death in the records.

Free BMD has 3 likely Connor children’s births with mmn Ryan, one of whom dies so the others match the tree.

There are 2 deaths for Edward Connor
1927  Portsmouth with a birth of 1886
1947 Gosport with  a birth of 1889

Gosport is more likely for place.

I have been searching military records. Edward signed on for the Royal Dublin Fusileers in Athlone on 1 /10/1900. There are letters from his father trying to find out what happened to him. It appears he had no contact with his family for at least 6 years after he joined up. Not found in 1911 census (UK or Ireland) There is an Edward Connor married to a Christine in Gosport but his age is out by 8 years & wrong date. The transcript has 2 sons both called Edward, the original only 1. All designed to confuse. To reolve it I will get the marriage cert & if this is right get the birth cert for the son Edward on the original. The fact that I can read the son's details means he is deceased but no death record found yet. He was b 26/7/1922 according to 1939 register.

Have you just found this information for Edward?

Which transcript mentions the two sons?

Apologies again! Meant to state that 1939 register is where I found the Connor family in Gosport. Military records found via FindMyPast.

It is best to post the information you have - prevents us wasting our time reproducing known facts.
I have seen the military records now elsewhere - interesting that he gave his uncle as next of kin rather than his father.
1901 census could well be him according to that record. It mentions Shorncliffe.
If I recall there are other Edwards in the Hampshire area so I still wonder if it is the right Edward.
He should be around in 1911 somewhere - no longer in the Army.
You mentioned a transcript with the two children’s names - where was that?
Was it 1939?

I think this person could be a candidate for Edward who married Christina.

There is a birth which matches (almost re birthdate)
