There was no need for passenger records between Ireland and England as Ireland was part of the UK until 1922. Even after that I don't think the passenger records were kept for any great length of time.
Far too many ferrys crossing back and forth to keep that much paperwork

Thanks i have a cousin who is hoping to visit county Kerry next year so he might find something out, their must be descendants of my Flynn still living in that area i contacted a local newspaper to see if they would put a piece in the local paper to enquire as to if any local resident had any info, but they never replied.
So i think i will now await any news my cousin can find.
Thanks once again for your help.

Have you looked for marriages for Stephen's siblings? Knowing where they ended up would help indicate if there is still family in the area.

1901

Father Maurice died 1909

by 1911 the family was split up
son Maurice going by age and occupation

Susan Bertie and Stephen

1911 Nov Susan married James Driscoll a soldier

No obvious births for this couple. Could they have gone to England bringing Stephen and Bertie with them?

If Thomas and Maurice did get married it doesn't appear it was in the Tralee area.

I don't know where mother Elizabeth went. If she died by 1911 it's possible the children never registered her death.

James Driscoll most likely served in WWI, if you can it might be worth looking for a service record, although many were destroyed in WWII bombings.
If you can find what regiment he was in it may be possible to work out if they had lived in England and Susan had returned to Ireland after he died.
Sometimes children are listed.

I have just found a James Driscoll serving with the Irish Rifle Regt during WW1, but it does not give any further details so i do not know if this is who i am looking for.
