Hi wonder if anyone can help.

Looking for the Parents of John Morto dod 1821 Great Yarmouth he Married Mary Ann Hawkins dob 1825 In great Yarmouth in 1844 they had one Daughter & five Sons.

Any help would be Appreciated.

According to 1851 and 1861 census he was bc.1821 in Pontefract, Yorkshire not in Great Yarmouth so this needs to be moved to the Yorkshire board.

Baptism easily found on familysearch - John Morton bp.16/5/1820 Pontefract, son of Mary (there's also an exact same entry dated 28/5/1820 - hard to say without looking at original parish record as to which date is correct - he was definitely illegitimate.

John Martin, Mariner
Marriage - 26 Jan 1844, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Father - Thomas Ackester, Ship Owner?
Spouse - Mary Ann Hawkins

Perhaps his father's name was added/made up to 'save face'.
