Funeral Service held for Ex Rochesterian

Funeral service for Mrs Alice Mountain Kirkpatrick formerly of Rochester were conducted Saturday in Mount Hope cemetery. She died Thursday (May 27 1943) in her home at Buffalo. Surviving her husband William  Kirkpatrick and a son Raymond Kirkpatrick.

The husband of Alice could have remarried after her passing according to this obitaury.

William Kirkpatrick Rites Conducted

Last rites for William Kirkpatrick 68, an active member of four Rochester Masonic Organizations until he moved to Buffalo in 1928 were conducted for him yesterday by fellow members of the Corinthian Temple Lodge , F & AM in Mount Hope Cenetery. Mr Kirkpatrick a native of Rochester died unexpectedly on Saturday (July 13 1946) in Buffalo. He joined the Masons in 1908 and in addition to the Corinthian Lodge also was a member of the Damascus Temple Germania Lodge of perfection and the Rochchester Consistory. Surviving are his widow Amelia Bauer Schultz Kirkpatrick , a son Raymond Kirkpatrick of Philadelphia, a daughter Bernice A Schultz and 2 grandchildren - Jean and Douglas Kirkpatrick. A funeral service was held in Mr Kirkpatrick's home before his bodywas brought to Rochester.

Retired Banker Accorded Rites

Raymond Dale Mountain - aged 60 - retired Montana Banker was accorded funeral service in Smiths Chapel and Masonic Committal Rites at Mountview Cemetery Wednesday.
Mr Mountain who had operated banks in Conrad, Cut Bank, Forsyth and Shelby and had served as president of the Montana Bankers Association died at his home 106 Locust Street Monday after a long illness . He had lived in Billings since 1945. The funeral service was conducted by Rev A G Adams - Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. "Jesus Saviour"  Pilot Be and Crossing the Bar were sung by John G Kiser accompanied by Mrs Ernest E Wild. Pallbearers were Ray Austin, O M Jorgenson, Harold Kingsley, Ray Latham, Clifford Sparks and R M Waters.
Ashlar Lodge No29 A F & A M conducted the rites at the Cemetery.
Surviving Mr Mountain are a widow, two sons, a daughter, two sisters, two brothers, three grandchildren.

This looks like one to investigate perhaps  ??? - UK Return Passenger List shows a John Dale aged 67 years - nurseryman - last permanent residence Oregon. New York to Liverpool - arriving 25 December 1917 - on the Adriatic -   Going to Patley Bridge Yorkshire.

Wow, I can't believe how much information you have found out about Ann and her family.  It is much appreciated as this part of the family were scattered all over after their father's suicide. Ann's step brothers ended up with McPherson's homes in Canada, just across the boarder from where Ann lived. I googled it last night!! I wonder if they ever met again-I shouldn't think so. Thank you once again to both of you.  I am going on holiday first thing in the morning so if you leave anything else (I don't think there can be any more!!)I won't be able to reply-no mobile phone for me!!. Louise

As I was typing this you managed to post two new replys-I can't believe your researching skills. No I didn't know about that John P Dale I lost him after the 1881 U.K census. Louise
