Possibly William Frederic Hewitt - Bank Clerk on 1911 Census in Chesterfield.  Wife Edith and a daughter.

William M Hewitt, birth registered 1914 in Chesterfield has mother's maiden name of Howe.

William Frederic Hewitt and Edith Howe appear on the same page - Marriage registration - September quarter 1908 - Chesterfield.

It looks as though William has died prior to 1939 Register - family at 137 Brockwell Lane.  There is a death registration in Chesterfield District - June quarter 1926 - William F aged 55, which ties in with the age on 1911 census.

The 1939 Register shows Edith at the address given by Alan but she is a widow.  Son William with her and a daughter Margaret.

A death here which could well be William:-

Deaths Jun 1926
Hewitt    William F    55    Chesterfield    7b   736

Gives a birth year of 1871.

Most likely birth for William

HEWITT, WILLIAM  FREDERIC     ROBERTS

Looks as though we are looking at the right family then BumbleB.  Especially as the 1939 address is the same as that given by Alan in his first post.

William Jnr's birth record:-

Births Jun 1914
HEWITT    William M    Howe    Chesterfield    7b   15_0

dob in 1939 is 3rd May 1914

You have found his baptism so the birth record is superfluous but I've included it anyway.  Seems to be incomplete re page number.
