Using the website https://www.iannounce.co.uk/  you will see there is an obit for Mary Kidman.

Thank you so much for that Carol.

It gives me quite a bit of information. It has KIDMAN - MARY (MAURA). and I am wondering if she was from Wales. It also tells me interment at Llanbeblig Cemetery. Would that be a burial? No mention of children.

As announcements in the newspapers are quite expensive here not many people choose to out an obit in the papers nowadays.Unless you were a person of some standing in your community.

Also the fact that many people move about quite a bit, there's often no one in the local area who knows them all that well.

I understand.

Once you know exactly where in the area he died, you could contact the nearest cemetery. Or the crematorium.

Carol8353 sent me an address and I now have Michael's wife Mary's interment at Llanbeblig Cemetery. So, there is a chance she is with Michael.

Looking for any information on Michael Randolf KIDMAN b.1930 Brentford, England m. Mary Mannix 1955 Wood Green, Middlesex

Micheal died in Sept. 2001 Bangor, Caernarvon - his wife 2012

1964 Michael was a Projector Repair Mechanic. Have no information of when he went to Wales or about his death.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

They still seem to be living in Luton in 1969(Electoral rolls)

So, they stayed a while after getting married in 1955, before going to Wales. They don't appear to have had any children.

Michael, was Seymour's brother and, was 16 when she died.

Have now received information, locating the grave for  Michael Randolph Kidman and Mary Kidman.  The grave number is 3659 in LLanbeblig cemetery in Caernarfon. So, Michael and Mary are together.

Hi cupcake

Have you asked the cemetery office whether a headstone exists?

Hi cupcake

Have you asked the cemetery office whether a headstone exists?

I am just about  to email the chap who has been in touch and ask if there is a headstone. He is kindly sending  me a plan of the cemetery.

Had a prompt reply from form the chap  :).

He is going to ask the cemetery inspector to check the grave and take a photo of the memorial if there is one on the grave.

That's a very generous thing of them to do in these days when offices charge for doing the look-ups.
