She is my Grandchildrens other Grandmother. Their daddy lost her when He was 2. It's his birthday tomorrow. :)

Hello

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Does the son not have a copy of his birth cert? If not suggest he gets one.
As Geraldine was only born about 1930 even her marriage image won't be online yet.
Although if she married fairly young it may be on FamilySeach index which goes to 1958 and a photo copy could be ordered.
Assuming you know her husband's name you could try matching his name up with Geraldines on the same Vol, Page number and Year

They will only be updated by 1 year!

I don't think it's going to be straight forward ordering his cert with out his mother's maiden name.
You have his name, his date of birth, father's name, mother's first name, place, mmmmm
He may have to do it himself when you don't have mother's maiden name.
Might be worth ringing Roscommon and explaining why he doesn't know her name and asking how he can get it.

Thank you. I emailed roscommon , seeing if the death was reported by her husband. Asking for a marriage cert at same time..if they allow it. He was 2 when she passed.

Aren't there any electoral documents in Dublin for 1971 that could be accessed?

The Gods are shining on us Tonight..father Joseph Carolan mom Geraldine Hillis...born Dec 1929

She's born in New Ross Wexford her mom was Orange..I've never heard of anyone called that before.
